Bob Yang, Research and develop technical director in Nanjing Canaan Pishon Technology CO., LTD. Bob Yang was born in 1965, he is the master of the Harbin Engineering University, senior Engineer. He has worked for technology for 30 years. Successively held senior management positions in China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, European and American multinational enterprises, etc. And now he is holding research and develop technical director in Nanjing Canaan Pishon Technology CO., LTD. He led the team to develop products such as oscillating granulator, high airtight dry granulator, large output dry granulator, solid preparation purified water machine, automatic decocting machine of Chinese herbal, etc. And he's done technology research and development of vibrated fluidized bed, continuous belt vacuum drier, automatic distribution system of Chinese herbal. 

 Presentation Summary 

Design directness means requirements for resources In the product life cycle, from conception design to manufacturing application and other whole process. The design which has good directness has lower requirements of extreme resources. On the contrary, it is higher. There is even a need for secondary development of resources. Maybe it will cause many problems, such as quality, delivery, cost, service, regulations and so on for enterprise. In this respect, pharmaceutical machinery is no exception and faces same problems. In this paper, through the analysis of the existing structure of automatic decocting machine, dry granulation machine, purified water machine and Chinese herbal extraction equipment of our company's four production lines, we make actual case illustration of the straight through design, so as to deepen our understanding of the design directness.
